Getting In Shape

Okay so I get married in 13 weeks, and although I feel trimmer than before Christmas, I am still not totally happy.

After Christmas, I vowed to get a body I was happy with and I lost a stone which I have kept off. However, the other day I found myself deleting photos of me because my arm looked fat, or I didn't like the look of my ankle. Ridiculous. This photo is the only full length photo I have of me, and look at my face!

Last night I decided (while eating half an Easter egg) that I need to get back I shape, so tomorrow I will be signing up the gym.

Firstly, I do feel that I should mention how I have lost 3 stone on weightwatchers since I went travelling. The photo below shows the weight I used to be. I just wasn't happy that size, and Weightwatchers really helped me keep a track on what I was eating. However, I now feel I need to tone up for my own health too, as I have the food education already.

This decision that was persuaded by my lack of excuses for why I have not already joined, and it was also persuaded by the Easter egg making me feel sick. I mean I don't recommend this as you motivation for getting your bum down there to sign up, but in this case it worked. You would have thought it was the prospect of having loads of photos taken of me on my wedding day, but that doesn't seem to bother me. Although it should, as de-tagging is a big no no on your wedding day.

So as of tomorrow I will be running, stretching, and squatting to a body I am happier with. I don't want to be a size 6, and I certainly don't have the dedication to get a six pack, but I want to feel more comfortable.

If anyone has any tips or hints as to how I can shape up my arms, or get slightly smaller legs that I can rock in a summer dress, then get in touch.

Stay tuned for an update on my wedding summer body.
