I have been privileged to have followed the F.A.M.E. Teams journey since I undertook my new role in March this year. This fantastic four have had a year action packed with mentoring days, stage presence and even a trip to South Africa. Today I got to spend their final day as part of this prestigious Team at the beautiful Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge with Errol Douglas MBE, and find out why we haven't heard the last from Amelia. Lucy, Luke and Peter.
I started the day with a walk through Hyde Park, and this was mainly due to my inability to establish the difference between Marble Arch and Hyde Park Corner. I wanted to go to Winter Wonderland again this year but it definitely does not look quite as appealing at 8.45am.
I made my way to The Berkeley Hotel and was greeted by their beautiful Christmas display. I think this has got to be one of my Top 10 for festive creativity and it definitely inspired me for my own home decor.
Tip: Their Afternoon Tea is meant to be incredible so if you get chance then make sure you make your way there. I would definitely suggest making a booking.
As a hairdresser in this fantastic industry the F.A.M.E. Team provides an incredible platform for further recognition. It is also an opportunity to work with renowned experts as they provide their expertise in mentoring days to encourage creative skills and professional advice. Today was their chance to learn from the incredible Errol Douglas MBE as he spoke fondly of his time as a Team member, and as a Project Leader.
It is so important to acknowledge and understand how to pave the way for your future, and this includes recognising how to promote yourself through Social Media and photographic work. I was encouraged by how excited all four are about their future and having seen the talent they demonstrate their future certainly looks bright.
Amelia, Lucy, Luke and Peter undertook a tough audition process to become the final four and they have passionately made the most out of every day, show and photo shoot. I feel very excited for all of them and know they will continue to be ones to watch!
Today marks the end of an amazing year but the start of the next chapter.
