Keep Warm In Style

It is definitely starting to feel a lot more like Autumn and that means that exciting (and somewhat) dreaded search for the perfect coat. The hunt is on for a coat that keeps you warm but is stylish - oh and one that can work with jeans, tights, and if you want to add a scarf. Phew! 

I am loving the soft check and tartan styles that are all around at the moment and these are my Top 3

This coat is from Topshop and is flattering because of it being double breasted. It looked great done up or un done and the buttons allow you to be nipped in where it matters. The wool means that it is really warm and for the price it is great value at only £89. Definitely a coat that will last and you can buy it here

A different shape to the one before and although I love these coats I don't always think they are overly flattering. I love the soft check look of this coat from Next so I couldn't help but try it on and I was really impressed. It looked amazing with jeans and boots for the perfect stylist Autumn look, as well as working with a thick pair of black tights which is really important as you want it be versatile for the £90 price tag. This is a similar shape to the Topshop coat however it is not as fitted. I went a size smaller than I normally would and still had room for my sweater. I love the addition of the fur collar from Warehouse as it adds a little something extra to this beautiful coat. I always get so disappointed when I find a coat or cardigan that has fur somewhere on the garment but you can't remove it resulting it a damp smell if it rains. This one can be removed and gives a whole different look to the coat. It is the most expensive out of the three but at £95 I still think it is great value for money and you can find it here
