New year new me ... Yes I did just say that and I am officially on my Slimming World journey
Throughout most of school and university I was between 13 and 15 stone. Always been the "chubby mate" and always been really self conscious. 4 years ago I joined Weight Watcher's and lost 3 1/2 stone so why join Slimming World?
Well, I loved Weight Watcher's and I was incredibly proud to have lost so much weight, however if I am honest I became obsessed with what I was eating. I cut out bread, pasta, chocolate and lived off salads and chicken with vegetables. I loved how much weight I was losing but it wasn't healthy. I was cutting out important food groups to reduce my points and the result was a huge binge and then 6 months of putting weight on and loving food.
A gain off 1 stone 8 lbs has led me to start a new journey! I am now officially a Slimming World member and really excited.
My first purchase was this awesome book from Temptation Gifts and it is a great way of logging my food intake. I am a neat freak and the paper version just isn't pretty enough for me so it was time to invest.
You can log training and nutrition, along with my weight each week so I am really looking forward to noting everything down.
Any advice is appreciate and definitely looking forward to meeting lots of new people
